Notes
Brailey was part of a group of sailors attached to the Naval Ordnance Depot on Spectacle Island who were returning from Balmain late one Saturday evening when their boat capsized. The coroner concluded that Brailey drowned on 1 June 1913. His body was recovered 10 days later.
