Notes
POW 1942JAN01 returned Australia 1945SEP30 Kimball was another tough nut to crack, he joined the RANR in Aug 1941 as Kimball Oascar Tali Mendelsohn and served until Demobilisation in Apr 1946. He changed his name by Deed Pole in May 1950, the same year he married and somehow that information made it onto his Service Record despite Demobilisation 4 years prior. Kimball spent time as a P.O.W. from Jan 1942 returning to Australia in Sep 1945. RM
