AWM has wallet of letters #1DRL/0208 The biographical note with it claims Possible English birth , Schooled at Christ Church School Greenwich, Served RN then RAN date of death tallies with our records suggests on the page he was born 1875 and death was a result of a fall in German New Guinea.
