NOT IN BURIAL REGISTER UK National Archives ADM 139/200/19977 is a record of Service for a Peter Bridges from Hampshire. this is the only Peter Bridges that comes from Hampshire within the RN ratings record. No John Bridges or Bridger from Hampshire was found. The reader should make their own judgements if this is "John Bridger" after reading the newspaper reports regarding the contents of the mans sea chest and documents. HMS Rosario was on station 1867-1875. Originally buried St Anne's Ryde and relocated to Field of Mars upon the widening of Victoria Road.
