Notes

Commonwealth War Grave. Also commemorated at the Victorian Garden of Remembrance, Springvale. Served in HMS Beagle which was deployed throughout the Dardanelles campaign, supporting the Gallipoli landings (landing troops of 9th Btn AIF) and Imperial troops at Sulva Bay in Aug 1915, and covered the evacuations on 20 December of that year. Transferred to the RAN as part of the loan agreement with the Admiralty
