KENNETH LESLIE BAKER ROYAL NAVY Kenneth Leslie Baker was born in Portsmouth UK on the 12th of September 1924, and he served in Royal Navy submarines during the Second World War. At some point, Ken emigrated to Australia. There are no records of him serving in the RAN, however it is possible that he was a RN rating on a Sydney based RN submarine who took his discharge in Australia. In 1968 and 1972, Kenneth was living in Canberra working as electrical fitter with his wife Eileen. Eileen passed away in Macksville in 1989 aged 59, Kenneth passed away in 2015, he was cremated and his ashes are interred in Memorial Wall # 6 at Lavertys’ Funeral Home Macksville, NSW
