Defensively Armed Merchant Ship (DEMS) Gunner. Prisoner of War - Germany after sinking of his ship the Africa Star on 15 JAN 1941 by the German Raider Kormoran, he was transferred to the Supply ship Nordmark arriving France March 1941.
