Death notice information on the Cairns RSL Sub Branch states that Bill served for over 40 years. Bill was a friend of mine and we shared a common interest as we had both been Writers in the Navy.
He hated his first name of Arnold so never used it and it is not on his grave.
His medals include an Active Service Medal with ICAT bar, Australian Service Medal with PNG bar, an Iraq Medal and LSM with 4 bar.
